  1. It should be good to add a valid EN9100 certificate for Fluorotechnique. However, we all agree with the fact that current certificate uploaded into ASD-CERT website was valid at the time of this qualification.

ISO8788:2000 was applied whereas the latest issue is dated 2020. However, as previously said, this last revision of ISO8788 is an editorial revision, so there is no impact on the parts and on the qualification.

EN9133:2005 is mentioned in QTR whereas the latest issue is dated 2018. Could you please clarify?

There is a typo error in EN3712:2007 for rivet hole tolerance: in this edition, tolerance for “S” dimension is 0/+2,2 mm! This tolerance is far too broad and should be 0/+0,2 mm.
Therefore, in QTR, “S” dimension requirement is 2,5 mm to 4,7 mm (due to tolerance issue).
Actual values on this batch are 2,63 to 2,72 mm, which is more in line with other similar EN standards and prEN3712:1991 as well . In this prEN, rivet hole dimension is: 2,5 mm 0/+0,2 mm, which might mean that we a small out of tolerance equal to 0,02 mm.
To conclude, this issue shall be addressed to ASD-STAN in my opinion.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Best regards.

    1. Dear Julien,
The conditions have been replied by Howmet simmonds St-Cosme.

“The date of the new issue of the I’ EN9133 was updated in the new QTR 8875A – 6JSMR20209M- ISO5858 enclosed. The revision of the EN9133 has no impact on the qualification performed ( QTR, QTP, QTS..)”
      – rivet hole tolerance should be 0/+0,2 mm:
the Howmet Internal drawing required well the dimension 2.5 mm 0/+0,2 mm.
The countermeasure was performed and the values are compliant. See updated QTR 8875A – 6JSMR20209M- ISO5858 enclosed.

Thank you in advance for your Treatment,
      Have a nice day,

  2. Another point: on ASD-CERT website, it is written:”887 – Howmet Fixations Simmonds – St Cosme en Vairais (FR) 4JSMR20209M”.
Could you please replace “4JSMR20209M” by “6JSMR20209M”?
    Many thanks again.

    1. Dear Julien,
For the last condition, the Howmet internal part number has well been updated “6JSMR20209M”.
The approved EN9100 and Nadcap certificates have well been updated accordingly.
For rivet hole tolerance, Howmet is managing this opened condition.
      Best regards.

  3. Dear Sébastien,
I am happy with all HFS’ answers and yours.
Thus, qualification is approved on my side.
