Recess removal torque:
For ISO MJ3, EN4074 specifies NAS1800, T10 recess code.
NAS1800 calls out NAS1799 technical specification, which states that:
“Performance. The drivers, when tested as specified in 4.5.2, shall conform to 60% of the torque load requirements of Table I for the specified driver size.”
As per NAS1799, table 1, minimum torque for T10 recess code = 40 in.lbf = 4,5 N.m.
Thus, 0,6 x 4,5 = 2,7 N.m. This is the value specified in ISO9152, table 9 for diameter 3.

Many thanks for carrying out both tensile and double shear tests on bolts even though they are small in diameter (ISO MJ3 for these bolts and ISO9152 requires these tests from diameter 4 mm).
It is always better to get mechanical tests on bolts instead of specimens.
