  1. EN3035-050:
    In FAI report, thread major diameter tolerance is 4,85 to 5,00 mm. As per EN3035, maximum thread major diameter is equal to D1min – 0,025 = 5 – 0,022 – 0,025 = 4,953 mm.
Hopefully, actual values are in line with this maximum. Could you just please take this into account?

    EN2413-080:
MPI: sample size should be 200 parts instead of 80 parts. However, this batch is dated 2009. At that date, LISI’s interpretation of ISO2859 sampling plan was different. Now, it is clear. Just something to point out.
    EN2413-060:
MPI: sample size should be 100% instead of 20 parts. However, this batch is dated 2010. At that date, LISI’s interpretation of ISO2859 sampling plan was different. Now, it is clear. Just something to point out.

No double shear test results since this bolt is too short in length. Shall we have a chance to get double shear test results carried out on EN4073-040 bolts with sufficient length? Or similar parts?
    EN4073-050:
No double shear test results are available. EN4073-050014 bolts have sufficient length to be double shear tested. Could you please clarify?

For all bolt references, in Test Reports , we do have hydrogen-embrittlement baking (after plating) parameters. Is it possible to get stress relief parameters before plating? Indeed, thread rolling and some machining operations were carried out before cadmium plating, but after heat-treating operation.
    Many thanks in advance

    1. Hi Julien,

      Thanks for your feedback.
Below you will find our responses to the comments:

=> The dimensional statement has been updated on the website for reference EN3035-050009AB (major diameter tolerance).

      EN4073-040:
No double shear test results since this bolt is too short in length. Shall we have a chance to get double shear test results carried out on EN4073-040 bolts with sufficient length? Or similar parts?
=> The reference EN4129-040xx OF 472453 is similar (except the head) and has the double shear results.

      EN4073-050:
No double shear test results are available. EN4073-050014 bolts have sufficient length to be double shear tested. Could you please clarify?
=> The part was manufactured according to the Dassault standard which specifies that double shear tests are not required. However, part EN4129-050xx OF 480530 is similar and has the double shear results

=> The reference EN4129H060xx OF 481154 is similar (except the head) and has the double shear results.

=> You will find on the ASD-Cert website an extract from our internal documentation which specifies the conditions for stress relief before plating for these references.

  2. Hi Nicolas,
Many thanks for all your detailed answers.
I am happy with all of them, so, approved from my side.
    Have a nice day
    Best regards
    Julien
