  1. EN2928-050:
PFC: EN2583 technical specification issue written is dated 1997. The latest issue of EN2583 is dated 2019. For information, EN2928 QTS mentions EN2583:2019.

In QTS, sample size for FPI is 2000. I think this is “all” or 200.

In QTS, sample size for hardness testing is 20 whereas in CoC, we have 3 results. 3 tests are in line with EN2583, table 8, column B (destructive tests – sampling for Acceptance).

    EN3613-050:
PFC: EN2583 technical specification issue written is dated 1997. The latest issue of EN2583 is dated 2019. For information, EN2928 QTS mentions EN2583:2019.

In QTS, sample size for hardness testing is 20. In CoC, we do have 20 results. This is better than EN2583, table 8, column B (destructive tests – sampling for Acceptance).

In QTS, sample size for FPI is 2000. I think this is “all” or 200 (up-arrow marked against corresponding sampling plan in EN2583, table 4, AQL = 0,065%). In FPI report, 1000 parts have been FP inspected, which is better than EN2583 requirements. LISI stated that they applied a customer protection plan, which is a good point.

Raw material: EN3613 does not call out TR3775 and material certificate does not mention any conformance to EN2952 raw material standard called out by EN3613.
However, I agree with Marko’s comment in “Particular remark” section. In addition, if we compare with EN3444 standard which is an Inconel 718 bolt, 1250 MPa strength class, EN3444 calls out TR3775.

    Many thanks in advance

  2. Hi Julian

Thank you for your comments. I sent an email to Lisi Turkiye with snips of the issues regarding the PFC and FPI / Hardess sampling.

I will upload the amended documents if needed.

Regarding the material AMS5662 used in place of EN2952, would you be satisfied with a signed statement from Lisi Turkiye that they consider AMS5662 as an alternative as suppliers do struggle to source EN specified material. I know Philippe Canteau has in the past requested this, or are you satsified that TR3775 already confirms that?

    Thanks

    Marko

  3. Hi Marko,
    Thanks for replying.
For raw material, if LISI Turkey can write an offical statement, it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks again
    Best regards
    Julien
