EN2549-030014F:
Tensile tests on bolts were not carried out since ISO9152 requires this test for bolts with diameters equal or greater than 4 mm.
However, EN3037-030026AF were tensile tested.
Both references are long enough to be tensile tested.
Could you please tell us why we have this difference?
EN2549-040010F:
Just for information, EN2549, clause 6 deletes double shear test.
EN2549C080030F:
Why tensile tests were carried out on specimens instead of on bolts?
I assume this is due to short thread length (11,5 mm < 8×1,5 = 12) but we do have tensile test results for EN2549H100019F (thread length = 14,5 mm < 15 mm).
EN2870H060003F:
This bolt is too short to be tensile tested. In that case, tensile tests on specimens should be done.
Could you please check if tensile tests on specimens are available?
EN3037-040012RF: fluorescent penetrant inspection data are missing. Could you please fix this?
EN3381-040015RF:
Actual sample size for FPI is 80 parts. Manufacturing batch size is 962 parts.
In April 2019, LISI stated that they were in line with ISO2859-1 interpretation. Manufacturing batch number #475312 is dated November 2020. Could you please clarify?
EN4074-050012E:
Double shear test results are missing. Could you please provide them?
EN4127-050003:
This bolt is too short to be tensile tested. In that case, tensile tests on specimens should be done.
Could you please check if tensile tests on specimens are available?
EN4130-040014:
2 bolts were tensile tested instead of 3 (ISO9152 table 6). Could you please clarify?
EN4130-080028:
Tensile test results are missing. Could you please provide them?
EN4135H120072F:
Actual sample size for FPI is 50 parts. Manufacturing batch size is 270 parts.
In April 2019, LISI stated that they were in line with ISO2859-1 interpretation. Manufacturing batch number #962763 is dated January 2020. Could you please clarify?
EN4178-080004F:
This bolt is too short to be tensile tested. In that case, tensile tests on specimens should be done.
Could you please check if tensile tests on specimens are available?
Many thanks in advance
Best regards
Julien

? OF 434914: Although this is specified in the ISO9152 spec, we prefer to carry out the test on the finished part if possible. This may depend on the machine occupancy, the available tools, … for example.

Hi Nicolas,
Many thanks for your detailed answers!
I know that it represents a lot of work.
I am happy with all of them.
Approved from my side
Have a nice weekend
