For maintenance qualification, it is requested to perform tests:
– EN 3475-301: ohmic resistance per unit length,
– EN6059-401: Expansion range
These tests are not in QP and QR.
Please add them at least in QP and explain why tests are not performed.

EN 6049-001 mentiones that EN 3475-301 and EN 6059-401 are requested following the standard product ( Here EN 6049-006 ) . In EN 6049-006, the EN 3475-301 in not in the table 2 (tests methods and details ) then not applicable and EN 6059-401 is notices also as not applicable Then both tests haven’t been made for this renewal

I took time to read more in detail the standards and for the technical aspect you are right.
Nevetheless, I would highlight:
=> Test EN3475-301
EN6049-001 Table 1 Test methods for qualification it is mentionned that EN3475-301 must be applied for screened sleeves only.
EN6049-001 Table 2 Production routine tests it is not mentionned that EN3475-301 must be applied for screened sleeves only.
But as product EN6049-006 is not a screened sleeve we can admit that test EN3475-301 is out of scope.
=> Test 6059-401
EN6049-001 chapter 8.2 Maintenance of qualification it is mentioned “tests not included in the product standard are not to be carried out”
EN6049-006 there is no chapter for test methods for qualification and no chapter for maintenance of qualification. So we have to use chapter 5 Test methods in accordance with EN6059-100 to see in Table 2 Test methods and details that test EN6059-401 Expansion range is not applicable…
When test methods in the product standard has some deviation regarding methods given in product specification we should have dedicated chapters for.
