On QTR, Fastener production process (page 4): manufacturing batch is 1788932 if I am not mistaken. QTR, heat treatment: Precipitation hardening parameters here are a little bit different from AMS5662N, §3.5.2. The purpose is to get tensile, fatigue tests, etc… results compliant, which is the case. QTR, fatigue test: what is the frequency applied for for fatigue test? QTR, hardness test: According to manufacturing route, these hardness tests have been done on bolt blanks just after heat treatment. Hardness test shall be done at this operation or just after thread rolling (prior to surface treatment) ? Maybe just after thread rolling, hardness tests may not be suitable since this test leaves a mark. On QTR, thread grain flow: ISO9152 is mentioned, but it is ISO9154. QTR, microstructure: the sentence beginning by “Inspection and test methods:(…)” mentions ISO9152, but it is ISO9154. Thank you and have a good day. Regards.
